For a modest budget (~$20 million), the CGI and animatronics hold up reasonably well. The snakes move with weight and speed, and the film wisely uses darkness, rain, and fast cuts to hide limitations. Several practical snake heads and thrashing tails create genuine physical presence—something many CGI-heavy films lack today.
