Engineers use Smaart V8 to measure the phase difference between the subwoofer and the top box at the crossover frequency. By adjusting the delay on the subwoofer (or mains), they align the phase traces. When the phase traces overlap perfectly, the speakers sum acoustically. When they don’t, you get a "power alley" or cancellation.
This was the flagship. It included all four modules (RTA, Real-Time, Impulse, Spectrograph). If you were tuning line arrays or designing critical listening spaces, you needed the license. It allowed for an unlimited number of measurement points and full data export capabilities. Smaart V8
