Summer Camp v016: All Natural Games – Extra Quality Welcome to the 16th iteration of the most unplugged, earth-rooted summer experience you’ll never forget. This is not your standard rope-climb-and-tug-of-war camp. This is v016 — where “all natural” isn’t a buzzword, it’s the rulebook. And “extra quality” means every game, every material, and every moment has been refined for pure, wild, hands-on joy.

The Core Philosophy No batteries. No plastic trophies. No artificial turf. At Camp v016, the playing field is the forest floor, the equipment is foraged or crafted, and the score is kept in laughter, mud, and new skills. “Extra quality” means we prioritize depth of play over speed of play — longer games, richer rules, and memories that stick like burrs to a sock.

The All Natural Games – Event Lineup 1. The Driftwood Decathlon (Beach & Creek Zone) Teams build tools from found driftwood and river stones, then compete in: summer camp v016 all natural games extra quality

Stone Skipping Precision (ricochets only, no sinking) Sand-Spur Relay (barefoot balance over hot sand & sharp shells) Tidal Tug (rope made from twisted kelp & soaked willow bark)

2. The Silent Stalk (Deep Woods Arena) A live-action game of hide, track, and tag. No speaking. No whistles.

Camouflage with mud, charcoal, and ferns Tracking using broken twigs, moss disturbance, and bird alarms Capture the Flag with a twist: the flag is a live monarch butterfly resting on a milkweed (handlers ensure safety — no insects harmed). It’s written as a camp brochure / overview

3. The Wildcraft Triathlon Three rounds of practical play:

Bow Drill Fire Race – First smoke wins, first flame earns double points. Cordage Sprint – Weave 10 feet of usable rope from stinging nettle or dogbane. Edible ID Relay – Run to stations and correctly identify wild berries, mushrooms (no touching toxic ones — photo cards used), and medicinal leaves.

4. Summit Stones (The Hill of Whispers) A strategic rolling game. Each team gets five round, unmarked stones. The goal: roll them up a steep, root-covered slope and land them inside nested clay rings. Closest to the center wins. Wind, loose dirt, and sudden rabbit holes are “extra quality” hazards. 5. Echo Capture (Twilight Game) Played just before dusk. Teams hide clay “humming stones” (hollow, with small holes) that whistle when blown across. The opposing team must find them by ear alone — no flashlights, no talking. First to retrieve three stones and echo-call (a specific bird whistle) wins. This is v016 — where “all natural” isn’t

Extra Quality Features – v016 Only

Handmade Scorekeeping – Each camper gets a bark scroll and a burnt-stick pencil. They record their own wins and losses. Integrity is the prize. Natural Referees – Counselors are called “Roots.” They carry no whistles, only a hollowed gourd horn and a red bandana for penalties (e.g., “Loud Mouth” penalty = 2 minutes sitting by a quiet stream). Living Medals – Winners receive a small potted native sapling (oak, maple, or pine) to plant at camp — or take home. No plastic. No metal. Just roots. Camp-Wide Rule – Any camper caught using a screen or complaining about “boring nature” must do one “Quality Return” act: build a bench from deadfall, dig a drainage trench, or teach a younger camper a knot.
