Sura follows the life of a fearless fisherman (Vijay) living in a coastal village. He fights against a corrupt politician (played by Suman) who wants to take over the fishing community’s land for a resort. The movie follows the classic "mass hero" formula—songs, fights, romance, and a social message about protecting the livelihood of fishermen.
