Some bots may require you to join multiple suspicious channels or click on ad-heavy links (URL shorteners) to reveal the key, which can expose you to phishing or malware.
After entering a new key, manually trigger a "Virus Signature Update." If it completes successfully, your key is valid and communicating with ESET servers.
