🥵 If you’re using a VR ShineCon headset with Google Cardboard apps, the default profile won’t cut it — especially when things heat up.

: Adjusts the spacing between the two images to match the headset's lens spread.

Select "Save your own Cardboard viewer" followed by "Scan a QR code" .

Once you dial in your code, screenshot it and tape it inside the headset’s lid. You’ll need it again after every phone OS update.

Once you scan a code, open Google Cardboard’s own “Viewer Profile” tool to fine-tune screen alignment and distortion live.

: Launch the app and tap the Gear Icon (Settings) at the bottom or the Three Dots in the top right.

: You can use the Google Viewer Profile Generator to manually adjust lens distortion, inter-pupillary distance (IPD), and screen-to-lens distance to create your own perfect QR code.

Here is the reality: Because Shinecon produces dozens of generic clones (Shinecon M, Shinecon G01, Shinecon Pro, etc.), the QR code varies by model.
