The wife, , is stuck in a "settled" life. Her husband is a workaholic businessman who treats his phone screen with more intimacy than his wife. The turning point arrives when Shobha discovers her husband’s extramarital affair with a younger colleague (Parno Mittra). However, unlike typical Bollywood dramas, there is no screaming, no throwing of dishes. Instead, Shobha observes. She watches her husband laugh at the other woman's jokes. She notices the sparkle in his eyes that vanished from their home years ago.
